Julen er tid til ettertanke og litt lavere puls generelt, men ikke glem å mosjonere og trene litt innimellom all julekosen og julematen.
Julen er også tid for ulike tradisjoner. Det er viktig å ta vare på disse. En av de mer odde juletradisjonene er den såkalte 7-kirkersrunde i Follo, der man løper drøye 32 km fra kirke til kirke gjennom kommunene Ski, Ås og Oppegård. Tradisjonen har sitt utspring i orienteringsmiljøet i Ås, og etter hvert ble det en egen gruppe fra Oppegård og Ski som stort sett har løpt denne runden hvert år siden før århundreskiftet. Så også i år.
Med et lite glimt fra turen, ønsker Sportsmanden alle sine lesere en RIKTIG GOD JUL!
JULEKOS: I år stilte fire menn og en kvinne kl 08.00 ved Langhus skole for å løpe 32 kuperte og varierte kilometer på Lille julaften. I spissen som vanlig sportsreporter Jann Post, for anledningen i nisselue, som tok turen fra Eidsvoll for å opprettholde juletradisjonene i hjemkommunen. Med på turen var også to andre skribenter på Sportsmanden, Nils Hjelle og Janicke Bråthe, samt Team Sportsmandens Roger Thompson. En tradisjon i tradisjonen er også at Post “disker opp” med julemarsipan ved Oppegård kirke i Svartskog, omtrent halvveis. Det gir nye krefter før siste del av den lange og sosiale treningsturen.
